CAFE

Our café is a great place to relax at the end of a tour of the museum. The café has plenty of inside seating or you can enjoy your refreshments on one of the picnic tables in the grounds.

The Museum’s volunteers operate the café in the visitor centre, serving:

  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Hot chocolate
  • Canned drinks
  • Light refreshments
  • Fresh sandwiches
  • Homemade cakes
  • Homemade soups with crusty bread, and homemade cheese scones are sometimes available

Please note that the museum does not hold a licence for serving of alcohol.

FOOD ALLERGY?

Ask before you eat.
If you or a member of your party has a food allergy or intolerance it is important that you inform our café staff before you place an order.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

We have a microwave to heat baby food and a high chair is available on request.

BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC

Bring your own picnic.

A family picnic can be a key part of a memorable day out and we have picnic tables in different parts of the museum’s picturesque grounds. When the weather is less kind, picnics may be eaten in the visitor centre (capacity permitting).

HIRING THE VISITORS CENTRE

Those hiring the visitor centre are welcome to use the museum’s small kitchen, but please check that we can meet your needs.
Queries should please be raised when you make a booking or later addressed to:
info@waterworksmuseum.org.uk.
