Museum entertains enthusiasts from Australia & New Zealand

On Monday 22nd August The Waterworks Museum hosted a private visit by a group of vintage machinery collectors and steam enthusiasts from Australia and New Zealand. They were on a three week tour of UK heritage sites steam railways, beam engines, and private collections finishing up at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.

At the end of the visit members of the group expressed their delight at the wide range of engines and equipment that they were able to see in working order, especially the Triple Expansion Steam Engine and the two Hot Air Engines in the collection.
