Have you hit a brick will in researching your family history? Why not come long to the Waterworks Museum on Bank Holiday Monday (1st May 2017) to see if members of the Herefordshire Family History Society can help? Whist specialising in researching Herefordshire family history, society members can provide general help and advice for anyone interested in researching their genealogy. Members of the society will also be at the Museum on Sunday 24 September 2017. For more information please see the HFHS website at: www.herefordshirefhs.org.uk
The Waterworks Museum, which will be open between 12.00pm and 4.00pm, will have something for all members of the family to enjoy. All our engines will be operating 'in-steam' and the Heritage Water Park (Play 'n' Learn Zone) will be open for our younger visitors. The Museum is also home to Hereford's only permanent exhibition of the City's role in WWII, focusing on the role of the Rotherwas Munitions factory.
